Currently, my students do not have a rug to sit on during morning meeting, phonics, reading, and writing. Most of them complain about the discomfort of sitting on the hard floor. It seems like they ask to go back to their desks every time they’re on the floor. Unfortunately, sitting in a group close to the lesson is the best way to engage students for my lessons. Having this rug would greatly enhance my students’ learning environment and give them one less thing to worry about. Thank you for your support. We are also a Title 1 school and the students have trouble managing their own behavior let alone learning.
