Digital Learning opportunities increase student engagement. By adding the iPad and related educational and speech therapy apps to our speech therapy sessions, my students will be more engaged and interested in the day's activities. Being able to use an iPad and various speech therapy apps also increases the flexibility of each therapy session, as activities can be more easily adapted for each student in the room. We will be able to use apps to target a variety of skills within each session such as listening comprehension, comparison skills, and even articulation drills.
