The tablets for my scholars will help different learning levels. After a ELA lessons, for my scholar's exit ticket, they can match CVC words to the picture using a scaffolding method for my challenging scholars. The tablets will also be a resource for my EL scholars using a program to help them with English. We use programs like Reading Eggs and Edumentum. My scholars can use touch screen tablets to navigate the different programs. The problem with laptops and kindergartners are that they can't quite move the mouse nor navigate the computer even with practice for some scholars. This will give all scholars an opportunity to start somewhere and hopefully finish on a higher level of technology.
