Imagine students who have so much energy, anxiety, or other distraction that they simply are not ABLE to focus and learn. A sensory path or wellness walk creates an imaginative self-directed path that guides students through brain and body engagement such as breathing exercises, large motor skill practice, balance, hopping, high fives, finger traces. These exercises are used to ground and reset students, so they are able to refocus on the learning process. The sensory materials selected will be used to create a bright and engaging path for students to use while calming their nerves and energy. Thank you so much for your consideration.
