Students who are not in my office for assessment, may be in my office for social emotional learning opportunities, or for crisis situations. Standard 1.5.3 references students with various physical, emotional and intellectual differences and their well-being. My position as a school psychologist is to unlock every student's potential and help them achieve to the best of their ability level. COVID impacts have greatly affected all students, but our students with disabilities often need more direct opportunities to overcome the learning and social emotional losses associated with the pandemic.
