My students have limited opportunities to engage in art exploration and creation at home. During this project I hope to teach the students that art is fun. They will learn about paint type and color, also mixing colors with paper designed for paints. That what they create is special and valued. Learning to use different mediums will help them find their inner artist. When I tell students that they can finish a project at home, I have had many students say, "I don't have any crayons, paint" or other supplies at home. This will give them the opportunity to learn about artists and different art medias.
