Art is beneficial to students in several ways, including helping learn fine motor skills, inventiveness, decision-making, and creative problem solving. Studies have shown that greater art education leads to fewer disciplinary infractions, higher attendance, graduation rates and test scores. Our students love participating in art in any way they can, but we don't have art class at the school and we would love to give the students the opportunity to participate in after school activities that will excite them. We unfortunately do not have the budget to provide this opportunity alone.
