The young students that I work with have had to overcome new obstacles due to the pandemic. They have suffered from a year of fewer social opportunities, offering less time for them to practice their speech, language and social skills. My students work diligently each and every day.
The materials in this project will make their time in speech more fun, engaging and rewarding.
The fidgets, sensory materials and stickers will offer rewards for students who are working towards their goals and help keep them focused and engaged.

The books, speech cards and dramatic play materials will increase my ability to target specific sounds that many students are working towards, as well as, creating new activities to increase vocabulary, play skills and comprehension.

8.K.4 Participate in group discussions following the turn taking process: by asking and answering questions.
