Students must learn math without calculators, but math and science teachers recognize that students also need to learn how to use calculators in calculus. For this reason, the AP Calculus test includes two calculator sections in its four sections. Additionally, being able to compare a graphical representation of a function with its analytical representation is a strong learning tool. The calculators I am ordering allow students to define, differentiate, and integrate a function analytically, and then see that same function and its related functions graphically. They are simply the best available tool for doing graphical-analytical comparison.
