These materials will help our students grow emotionally, socially, and academically. All these items will be used solely in the school counseling office and classroom with individual K-2 students. The rug and headphones will complete our Emotion Reset Corner joining two pink bean bags already in place. Here students will have a quiet, safe space, to stop, think, identify their emotions, and take time to reset with coping mechanisms. The books requested are perfect for conducting classroom-wide social-emotional lessons and activities. The Zen Garden will be useful to both individual staff and students in need of a calming activity during the school day. The fidgets and other sensory tools are ideal for assisting students in our special education population.
