Offering students learning opportunities in various formats, including several hands on activities, will reach more students. Especially those that need a sensory approach to learning. These activities will be used as labs where they work with a partner to practice a given skill. Working with a partner also gives them an opportunity to practice social skills such as cooperation, problem solving, and listening and speaking skills. While the students are working at their lab stations, it gives me an opportunity to observe and assess learning in a more stress free environment.

About my class
