Our students rely on tangible materials in order for them to learn and grow. We need to send printed materials home in students' speech and language communication books so their parents can help to reinforce these skills at home. Our small speech department does not have a color printer and we desperately need one. We have been told that our broken one cannot be replaced. We need to make individualized materials to support learning for our students. Without access to a printer, many of our students will not be able to have materials to practice at home. Many of our students do not have a computer or tablet to view digital materials. The partnership between home and school is crucial for student progress and success. Our students need to be able to see, feel, and touch the materials that we use during therapy and at home.
