My students are always ready to learn. They respond well to routine and I find that recognizing their achievements has motivated them to continue to succeed. All students learn differently and need to be exposed to varies ways of learning. Students can strengthen language and vocabulary skills by using the built-in apps on the iPad to practice their printing. They can also incorporate text into drawings. The built-in microphone will allow emerging writers to speak instead of typing, which will allow me to assess students’ awareness of their own learning. Headphones will be used so that students can follow along as stories are read. Highlighted words or sentences are read aloud, making it easier for them to comprehend the meaning of the text and its proper pronunciation. This will increase their exposure to language. The iPad will be used by all thirty students.
