I’m starting a program at my school that will have older students (3-5) reading to the younger students (pre-K - 2nd). This program will give older students a purpose to practice or develop reading skills that will build their confidence. It will give the younger students a role model to look up to. This book will be the first of many books read to students and donated to teachers to help build the classroom library. I choose this book to help to build self-awareness and confidence in themselves.
