I would like our student to have a place to go that they can destress and not think about all the traumatic things in their life. The Serta Sofa bed, is just what we need to help turn the room into a comfortable place students can unwind and relax in. The fluorescent lights are harsh and cause more anxiety for our children, the soft light floor lamp helps alter the lighting in the room and help decrease depression symptoms and increase positive ideations. The florescent light covers also help with this. To help the ambiance of the room the rug will help cover old stains on the carpet, the rustic mirror is nice for students to be able to check them self before leaving often times they cry and feel like they look like it. The nightstand is to put out some fidget toys and stress balls for student to be able to distract them self from the stress the day brings and get back to learning. In order to help the ELL's needs I need to be able to translate properly. This language translator device can help translation in their home language to support them during our conversations.
