These materials will make a huge difference in my classroom! In order to teach my students impacted with autism important life skills, having a structured play setting like this will be a fun, exciting, and hands-on way to do that. They are in need of learning 1-3 step play directions and I would be able to plan lessons requiring them to do that with these objects. The students are motivated to come to and enjoy school when there are objects and settings that involve food/kitchen supplies, and the addition of the table and grocery set will help tremendously! I plan to have the students shop for food, make recipes with their groceries, and set the table to "eat" what they make. I am so excited to hopefully get started with all of this soon!
