Having a calculator on hand rather than on the computer screen helps the students greatly. They are not tempted to google their answers but to plug in their findings in real time. Calculators are crucial to the ongoing process of learning of math. Especially when we are recalling simple operations that some students may have forgotten about. Pushing students back into the non-virtual COVID-19 classroom has been a challenging process. However, providing students with the proper resources has made the process a lot easier and I hope to continue to do so.

About my class
