In my elementary music classroom, I aim to encourage growth in the minds of my students. Learning a musical instrument can do just that! Playing a musical instrument can help stimulate the mind as well as teach many life skills.
Students have to use cognitive thinking skills to learn and perfect the Ukulele.
Students have to learn how to read chords, strumming patterns, and eventually to sing while playing the instrument. Students will also be able to refine their skill of responsibility. They will have to learn how to care for the instrument properly. Also, the Ukulele is just a really cool instrument that is appropriate for many different ages and skill levels.
Each Ukulele ordered comes with a tuner (used to keep strings tuned to the correct pitch), a gig bag (used to safely store the instrument), extra strings, 4 picks (sometimes used to play the instrument) and a strap (allows for the instrument to be held safely by the student). All of the products listed above will aid in learning the Ukulele safely and efficiently. We hope that you will consider donating and thank you in advance for your support!
