Many of the NVACS science standards have students collect and analyze data which can be used to improve experimental designs. With hybrid learning, it is more difficult for students to access the needed lab materials, such as those included in this project. NGSS standards HS-PS2-1, HS-PS2-2, and HS-PS2-3 exploring Newton's laws of motion, conservation of momentum, and collisions are examples standards we will be working with. One of the most important aspects of science education is providing the opportunity for students to explore science phenomena through investigation, typically supported by lab activities. The materials in this project will allow me to put together lab kits for those students learning from home, so that they have the same opportunities to explore the science phenomena.
