This project is equity-focused. At this Title 1 school, there are more than 95% African American, Latinx as well as refugee newcomers from low-income households. These supplies will help students stay in school safely as well as provide students with the necessary materials needed for their studies. My heart goes out to my student as I am no longer able to purchase these materials and in January, my county will be fully in person. So, in preparation, students will need additional supplies to provide for their safety. My students are great! However, their parents do not have the means to get what they need in school.

About my class
