During independent work times my students are able to choose a location in the classroom that works for them. Flexible seating allows my students to choose and take ownership in their learning. Giving them the choice increases their motivation and engagement. Due to the new cleaning protocols, my old flexible seating options are not able to be sanitized in-between student use. Therefore, I had to remove them from the classroom, leaving my students with very little options. I would love for them to be able to have comfortable seating to be able to reach their highest potential.
