I am requesting a variety of resources to support my students' practice to develop their reading and math skills. It is important to reach students at the skill level where they are and to help them grow from there. Within small groups, I am able to build upon the skills that my students already have, and help them develop even more skills so that they may be successful. With the materials that I have chosen, I intend to have fun, interactive, and engaging opportunities for small group practice. Students will be able to work together with games and books that will interest and motivate them. Activities that highlight characters such as Pete the Cat or interactive games and puzzles will add variety in their learning and their practice of reading and math.
