The materials I have in my cart are items to create and express my student's culture. These items will give them an opportunity to express and show their community that they can help themselves in bringing back the Indigenous ribbon skirt/ shirt. The ribbon skirt/shirt are a representation of where they come from. Each tribe have their very own unique way of understanding life and nature. There are specific meaning to the colors of ribbons. Students will learn and research their tribal unique colors and bring it out on a skirt and show the community. There is a story in each creation and their specific Indigenous language study.
