My colleague and I work with elementary school children (Preschool to 5th grade) that have a wide variety of language learning disabilities and speech sound disorders. Our school is located in a high poverty area. Where other schools get funding from the community to help compensate for the State and Federal cuts to education, our community just doesn't have the means to support the school as much as they would like.
