These books will help me provide students with accessible and engaging titles to read during independent reading time. As part of our school's literacy push, students are given 20 minutes at the start of each day to read whatever they choose. With this project, I will be able to provide students with texts that they show interest in regardless of library fines or access to books at home. These books will stay in our shared classroom space and remain accessible to all students throughout the entirety of the school year. Students will be allowed and encouraged to take these books home and explore them deeply as they work through the reading process.
