I am needing help getting a class set of books and other books for my students to read that are about Deaf and Hard of Hearing characters. My students are underrepresented in literature and I want to show them that the Deaf Can! Wonderstruck in particular is a book my students and I are wanting to read to show them two different perspectives on Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I want to show my students they matter in this life and a great way to do that is to show them through literature. These books will be the focus of one of our units of study for English Language Arts and we will dissect and analyze this amazing work of art.

About my class
