Thanks for visiting my page. My school is in the process of developing rooms designed to give students a space to calm down and re-set. A challenge with this space is to have seating that is safe. The goals is to have soft seating options available so if something is thrown it does not hurt the student or someone else in the space. Having a trauma informed space is essential to helping our students learn necessary strategies to regulate their BIG emotions. The space is in it infancy and I am excited to see it mature.
