Throughout Covid, students have been impacted and now have learning gaps, that need hands on learning to be made up. Science and Math have both took a huge hit! These materials will supply supplies for the classroom and greenhouse/garden project. Addressing all fifth grade math standards and science standards; (MS-LS4-1),(MS-LS4-2), (MS-LS4-3)(MS-LS4- 4)(MS-LS4-6) (MS-LS2-2) Hands on learning through STEAM in the garden make learning real and meaningful. The supplies will help them with their learning from pots, to materials to record information. Students will not only learn, but give back to the community through their learning. Our classroom will have the necessary materials for colorful notes, to then be uploaded to the Google Classroom with the use of Rocketbook, and Expo markers. Plus students will have paper, pencils, and erasers which seem to be in short supply this year. The pots will make their gardening project come to life with eco-friendly, biodegradable pots!
