The materials I am requesting will help children with their social emotional learning. This year many of the students throughout the elementary schools are struggling with coping skills, anxiety, friendship, emotional regulation, self-esteem, etc. The fidget toys, bibliotherapy books, and other materials will allow me to create a calm, safe place for each of my students as we work towards coping with some of these issues. We will use the markers, Play-Doh, and other craft materials to do group and individual sessions. The different posters and confidentiality statements will be placed in my various offices to help give a visual understanding. Many of these activities will be done at school, but the goal is to have them do some with parents at home as well.
