These materials will assist the students in not only their writing centers, but their skills in organization and personal responsibility. The students love to write, however we need a space designated for our writing journals. This will create easy access for the students to retrieve their materials. Being able to have everything in one area, where the kids know to go in order to retrieve what they need, will create a better learning environment as a whole. By having their resources in one space will encourage the students to have personal responsibility over their materials. In turn, this will help create a better classroom culture and environment. Their writing skills will increase, the kids will be more engaged, and the pacing of instruction will go by even smoother. What these kids need is that safe space, responsibility, and organization. I'd like to give them that so we can succeed.
