My school has one the largest populations of homeless families In our school district. I want to put books in the hands of our girls to expand their minds and provide them an outlet to dream big. As a social worker, my office is the safe place where children land throughout the day. I often sit with students and work on puzzles to soothe their hearts and as a tool help them talk about what’s on their hearts and minds. Books, puzzles, and cookies help create magic. Thanks.
