These products are meant to improve the socio-emotional dynamics as well as the ability for ALL learners to succeed in my classroom. I heavily believe in the idea of Gardner's multiple intelligences, that students can showcase their learning in different ways.
Whiteboards are an effective means for students to demonstrate their learning, either through answering questions or drawing pictures. I often have students "snap" pictures of important vocabulary words during my presentations, or use them during review activities like Jeopardy.
Geography is an essential component of history. I would like to give students the opportunity to practice geography in fun and tactile ways through completion of a puzzle.
At our school, we have a 20 minute block each day called "Lancer time". I would like to give students opportunities to create positive and crucial socio-emotional bonds with their other peers through playing of various constructive boardgames such as Jenga, cards, and Connect 4.
All of this will in turn help create a happier and successful classroom environment for all my learners to succeed. A happier classroom makes happier students, and happier students make students more eager to learn.
