Creating a sensory space for my multiple disability classroom will be rewarding in so many ways. Many of my students have Autism, ADHD, and other disabilities that make sitting in a classroom all day a challenge. Having a space where they can explore with fidgets, water play, improve their motor skills with stepping stones and wiggle seat, regulate emotions, improve behaviors with compression socks and engage in stimulating activities will help develop their activities of daily living skills, fine motor skills and life skills. Addressing their visual, auditory, proprioception, vestibular and other senses will greatly benefit my students.

About my class
