This will help the English Language Learners in my classroom develop reading proficiency. These picture books will engage students in literacy activities and provide a fun learning environment. A lot of these books hit on social justice and community, which is important for young learners to get involved in early on! Having these fun picture books will also be a great addition to lesson plans and activities, integrating reading and English Language Arts into daily instruction. I'm a student teacher in this classroom and am excited to use these books in my lessons and have them for my future classroom as well. Picture books are a great way to get children engaged and proficient in reading.
