Students in my classes work primarily to develop and implement projects throughout the school and community. Many of these projects require physical representations that a 3D printer allows. In some cases, 3D-printed items would likely become a tremendous part to the solution to a problem we are addressing with a project. It is another avenue by which my students can creatively explore ways to address needs in the school and community. Tactile learners learn best by touch, and this printer would allow them to work in this way to advance their skills and to help others.
