Having feminine hygiene products on hand for female students while at school will help to reduce stress for the young ladies who forget these necessary items at home. The counseling office tries to have things on hand that make learning less stressful for our students. This often includes food and pantry items, but should also include hygiene items. Young girls are often still figuring their cycles out and are frequently caught off-guard when it "pops up" at school. Sixth grade girls especially are still unsure how and when everything occurs and I have quite a few young ladies come to the counseling office asking for supplies.
