I currently have one bouncy band in my room. It was left from a prior teacher. The students will argue over sitting in the seat with the band. A student told me that she deals with anxiety and always feels like she needs to bounce her leg. She told me she was so happy to have the bouncy band on her desk to help her focus! In a year of Covid still ongoing, my students need the added supplies for their desks to help them move in places when they cannot! Many 7th grade students have lots of energy and aren't given the times to release it, like lunch in the cafeteria daily or outside daily for recess. These bands would help with the release of energy in my room! Also, I have added pencils to my list. As a math teacher, pencils are huge in my room. I have been providing them every day for my students, but am running out. It would be so helpful to have a large supply for my students to be able to use! Thank you for looking at my list and being willing to help!
