My students are very eager to begin reading and love exploring books. This would allow them to have a special place where they can feel cozy and safe to practice the many phonics and reading skills they are developing. Having a place like this in our classroom library will help to keep students more engaged and excited for Readers Workshop. It also serves as a place where they can interact with their classmates and share their favorite books and read together. This will help to foster a community of students, who are excited to grow as readers!
