I am a first-year teacher and I am stepping into a classroom that has not had a consistent teacher for the majority of the school year. I want to create an inviting learning environment for my students to feel comfortable, safe, and motivated to learn. I feel strongly that decorating my room for Christmas will show my students that I care about them and their learning environment. This tree will create a cheery, positive, and warm place for them to learn. I will use this tree for many years as an attempt to show my students that they matter and spread some holiday and Christmas cheer.
