Students will be using the alphabet teaching tubs in daily lessons to help remember letter and their sounds which is an important part of learning to read. If they can see or touch something they are more likely to remember what they have learned. We hold these objects in our hand saying the letter and sound. These also help to expand vocabulary and background knowledge for students with lack of exposure to these items. They can provide a context for meaningful discussion. These objects will help to bring a multi sensory factor to learning to read.

About my class
