Every day as students enter our art room we do something called an Art Start to review content and introduce new skills. This is a great way for me as their art teacher to check their understanding. Using whiteboards during this process will help conserve paper and increase student engagement during these daily tasks! Art is truly about the learning process, not just the product, so whiteboards would be an amazing tool to use during our daily practice during our Art Starts! Students also use this time and practice to build confidence within themselves. Whiteboards give students the ability to take risks but feel less pressure if they mess up and need to erase. With whiteboards, students keep practicing their skills, build confidence, and help our environment and conserve paper.
