I work with a diverse group of students from many different backgrounds with many different abilities. Students today tend to be overstimulated by all of the social media and technology in their lives. They need ways to calm their minds to get their brains to take in information and strategies presented to them. Sensory regulation is so important to make brain connections for learning and more. Feed them sensory regulating learning and all students can learn. Using movement and special seating is an important tool to get students focused to learn.
