Books get torn and tattered and often have to be replaced each year. Replacing books each year means thousands of dollars. Each student needs a book in his/her hand to take home for assignments and practice. Planning activities to go with these books can involve lots of preparation and time. By buying a book unit that is already made, I can implement it right into my classroom. It will help to incorporate not only comprehension but also writing and vocabulary. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student fluency and accuracy, but you will also ultimately help to increase their reading comprehension, writing skills, and vocabulary. Good literature can bring a child’s imagination and education to life.
