Please help me give my students tablets to use for digital learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I want my students to be able to learn on the go and to be able to use technology in the classroom to complete fun and exciting learning games. The students will use the tablets to practice what they have learned in school and use various learning platforms, such as Boom Learning, iReady and so much more. The tablets are child-friendly and help our students become familiar with the everyday use of technology tools in the classroom. They will be used to motivate children in Reading and Counting! (RR.K.3c, RF.K.3, RF.K3a, K.CC.A.1, K.CC.B.4) I also included books for read aloud. My students enjoy listening to stories. Not all my students have someone that can read to them at home. Also, my students need a calm classroom environment and the help of a BlissLites Sky Lite will help make that happen. I feel it will help them get calm and refocus for the rest of the day. Lastly, my class is in need of a laminator. In Kindergarten we are still learning how to be careful with materials. This laminator will be used to create whole group books, as well as create dry erase surfaces to practice our handwriting skills, as well as math! Most importantly, this laminator will help keep these materials strong and durable for years to come! These tablets and other resources I have requested will bring a fresh exciting new experience in the classroom as well as spark further curiosity for learning. I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thanks!
