They will be more engaged while learning math and hopefully get a grasp of how to visually see how place values, as well as rounding are represented as well learn how to count money and learn the value of coins for the future. I believe that my students learn best when they can visually see how hundreds, tens, and ones look using base ten blocks. These manipulatvies could also be done during math workshop and partner work to help my studetns get more practice and hopefully build their confindence in math.

About my class
