These seating options and enhancements will give my students the power of choosing how they want to learn. Many of my students have a difficult time sitting at their desks for an extended time. Having the option to stand, bounce on a ball, bounce their feet, or sit in a chair that is soft and comfortable will help students get excess energy out, resulting in better concentration. Giving my students the option to move about while working helps them focus on their learning. It also provides them the opportunity to collaborate with peers that they otherwise would not have been able to sitting at a traditional desk.
