These materials will help my students gain a better understanding of the world around them. The importance of hands-on learning through play is undeniable and desperately needed. My students will be able to use the light table daily for sensory play, creative building and close examination of x-rays in our science lab that I created. It is quite a simple invention, the light table, but one that lends itself to a wide variety of experiences for students. I can just imagine the discoveries that will be made and the joy that will come from that enLIGHTenment!
