My students love to learn, but every day I notice more and more the need for flexible seating in my classroom. I have many students who struggle with sitting in their seats, and time on the carpet only helps so much. By giving my students flexible seating in our classroom, I am giving them the chance to focus better, learn better, and be more comfortable in their learning space. My goal is to have flexible seating throughout my whole classroom, as well as a reading area with flexible seating. This includes children-sized couches, a rug area, pillows, cushions, and rubber bands to put on their seats. I know my students will love having flexible seating options throughout the day.
