This project will help my students immensely. Our supplies will help us with everyday class work, and the Chromebook chargers will help for students who forgot to bring their charger on days when we're working on the Chromebooks. The Anne Frank graphic novels will expand our view of Anne Frank's story and engage the students in a unique way. The standards that will be hit are CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.8.5 and CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.8.6, comparing different texts and analyzing characters. I am certain that this project will give my students a unique chance to read an almost brand-new book! I'm looking forward to using the graphic novels in our Holocaust Unit at the end of the year, and I know the other supplies will help us as well.
