ELA and math resources will help fill those gaps that resulted from non-individualized distance learning due to COVID. For example, the ATM machine will help my students practice vocational and mathematical skills that are very much needed. The grow kit will enhance my students' science skills by giving them hands-on experience growing plants. Social-emotional resources will help students better express their wants and needs adequately as well as, facilitate building relationships with peers, which can ultimately lead to friendships. Some of these skills were severely hindered due to Covid, students (especially those with different needs) were not able to practice building relationships or meeting with friends. Manipulatives such as the wild animal counters will assist my students during our math blocks. These will also double as reinforcements for exhibiting proper behavior.
